Though it’s not due to be officially released until next week, naturally fans recorded the Breaking Dawn – Part 2 teaser trailer as it played before The Hunger Games in theaters.

Check it out below! We’ll be sure to bring you an HD copy once it’s made available.

Our favorite shot has to be the close-up of Bella’s vampire eyes!

UPDATE: At the request of Summit, this video has been removed. Like we said, an official copy will be online next week.

  • Hermione

haha. A deer, BELLA. Wow, that’s the best they can do. scary…..

    • Cindy

It’s not really supposed to be scary!

      • stargazer

Maybe it’s not meant to be scary, maybe it’s meant to be cool.  In either case, it fails miserably.

        • Tomas

Nope, it’s awesome! If you don’t think so, get the hell of this page and don’t go see this movie

          • Hermione

Will do. I’m sure that’s the plan of millions with lives!

          • Tomas

            Shut up

          • Tomas

            It actually is

          • stargazer

I’m not going to see the movie, but that’s not the point.  The point is, when creating a trailer you’re supposed to make people who aren’t necessarily part of the fanbase to want to see it.  To me it looked like they were trying to pull an “innocent person (in this case it’s a deer) is minding their own business when the audience sees the scary predator/bad guy/person that’s going to take them down (in this case Bella (not saying she’s the “bad guy,” but from the point of the deer she is)), which will look scary to the audience” slasher movie style trailer ending.  And it doesn’t work.  If you’re trying to portray someone hunting it’s usually done in a different way, from the point of view of the hunter rather than the prey, which I think would have worked better for the trailer.  And I’ll bet it’d look cooler as well.

          • Tomas

It doesn’t NEED to look scary. Besides, it IS just a teaser trailer, wait until the full trailer comes out. I thought it was amazing!

  • Ida

    Really?

    I mean….

    Really?

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100001426435099 Louelle van Rens

Ha. This is actually pretty cool.

  • DreamNox58

Well, that was not much of anything.  Kind of like what they gave me in the finale of Pretty Little Liars.  Nothing.

  • http://twitter.com/Andrew_ww Andrew W

The first Twilight was the first movie I walked out of because I just didn’t feel like staying for nothing. I will watch this online later.

  • Sarah

Bella thinks she’s so cool because she’s a vampire. -__- She gave up her family to live with her dead husband and strange child for the rest of her life. Bella is the reason why I was never a fan of Breaking Dawn. In a way, her becoming a vampire makes her weak, morally. She should have just sacrificed herself for Nessie and died in the first movie. In becoming a vampire, she cheated death.

    • Enelya

So she should just let herself die and leave Edward to raise a child on his own?  Yeah that’s selfless…….dying and leaving a baby behind.

      • stargazer

If you think back to the books, there was (in the first three) this underlying conflict of “are vampires inherently evil?  Do vampires have a soul?  Are vampires monsters?”  In the fourth book that whole conflict went out the window and it was like “Oh, I’m pregnant.  I know!  I’ll become a vampire after the baby is born.”  And she chose to become a vampire before she knew she was pregnant, with no consideration to the whole good/evil/monster/soul bit.  That was the most interesting part to me, and it was thrown out.  So I can see why Sarah feels that becoming a vampire made Bella morally weak and a death cheater.

        • Enelya

Bella’s stance always was that Edward has a soul, and she never really saw the vampires as evil things.  So of course she has no conflict with becoming one herself.  She wants it so she can be with Edward forever.

That’s like people that say that Twilight is so anti-woman’s lib, because she ‘gives up everything’ to be with Edward.  Edward is what she wants, he doesn’t want to change it as it is.  So isn’t Bella choosing to become a vampire more of a girl going after what she really wants?

          • Enelya

Oh and, she gives up her family?  Charlie is a part of her life, as is Jacob, the only person she really gives up is Renee, who isn’t really around anyway.

          • Ida

Bella gives up her family long before she  discovers she’s a super special newborn with the power to control her thirst. The fact that she turned out the way she did does not have an impact on the choice she made to leave her entire life behind for a sparkly, rich kid, because she didn’t know she would have that amount of self control before she was changed.

This isn’t the only reason Twiligh is considered anti-woman’s lib. It’s the unhealthy relationship between her and Edward, and the messed up way gender is portrayed throughout the series.

          • stargazer

Twilight IS so anti-woman’s lib, and not necessarily because she gives up everything to be with Edward.  It’s because all she is is Edward’s.  She cooks, which is her only defining characteristic besides clumsy and “smart” (which, by the way, we only see through the fact that she’s in AP English and AP Biology, but is not shown any other place).  She gives up cooking–her only defining characteristic–when she becomes a vampire.  Other than that it’s Edward Edward Edward, with a little bout of Jacob, Jacob, Jacob, thrown in.  Aaaand, once she becomes a vampire it’s “we could have sex like this foreeeeveeeeer!”  All she wants is Edward, and her reward is she gets to have a half-vamp creepy child, which she dotes on as any loving mother would.
(I’m all for women becoming at-home mothers, but at least they have personalities and accomplishments and all those other things that come with being a well-rounded person.)And if there hadn’t been the whole “Jacob decided to change into a werewolf in front of Charlie” bit, then Bella totally would have given up on her family.  She only gets Jacob because of the whole imprinting thing that Meyers put in (which shows that Renesmee doesn’t get a bit of input on the matter of who she’ll marry), and don’t forget the fact that she basically abandoned her mother in the first book because “that’s what was best for her.”  I mean, I’ve met kids in split families, and they’re constantly torn, with either bitter feelings or loneliness, and they think about their parents quite a bit–whether with those bitter feelings or sadness.  Renee only came up once or twice in the entire series.

Okay, I’ve got to end my rant before it goes on much longer.  There.  I’m done (not really, but…okay, I’m going now).

          • Kelly Barker

She’s not giving up her family because she’s going to be with them forever. Don’t you see that Edward and Nessie ARE her family now?

          • stargazer

Kelly:  Family is more than just who you’re married to and your kids.  (Granted, it’s a very very important part)  It’s who you’ve grown up with as well–immediate and extended family, friends, the more the merrier.  It’s a group of people you can turn to for support when you’re having a rough time.  I mean, who can Bella turn to if she and Edward have a fight and she just needs to talk to someone about it?  If Edward and Nessie are her only family, she can’t talk to anyone.  (and if you say she could talk to Nessie, then I’d say that’s a pretty messed up mother-daughter relationship.  I don’t care how advanced Nessie is that she should be burdened with the woes of her parents’ marital relationship)
The point is that she was willing to give up EVERYONE so that all she’d have was Edward.  She gives up all her friends at school (well, I guess they were just her lukewarm friends, as she didn’t even try to get close to anyone who wasn’t a vampire or werewolf), she’s willing to give up her dad and her mom, and I’d bet she’d be willing to give up the Cullens if something got in the way.  I don’t know about you, but only having one person to talk to, even if he is your soulmate, is a pretty sad and lonely life.

Luckily for Bella, everything turned out peachy and she’ll get to live happily ever after, but I explained that in my previous post.

    • Tomas

And YOU don’t understand this story

      • Ida

Saying so doesn’t actually make it true. You need to back up your claims with sound reasoning.

    • Kelly Barker

She became a vampire FOR her husband and child. And you have the nerve to criticize her for choosing to be with her family forever?

      • stargazer

If I remember the book right, it ends up that Bella gets turned into a vampire because that’s the only thing that will keep her from dying. She was willing to die for Nessie, which is honorable.  But then Edward would’ve been that black-eyed broken mess forever and unable to take care of the child.  So I guess it was honorable for Bella to be changed into a vampire, but it was at the sacrifice of everyone else in her life besides Edward and Nessie.  If you want to see why I say this, read my other posts.  I don’t really want to repeat myself.

  • Rdh014

oh god, I saw it before The Hunger Games and cringed. The films are just getting worse…

  • Gary65

Given the usual timing of these things, how long do you think it will be til we have a proper trailer?

  • http://twitter.com/paramaniac97 TwihardTribute

That was so teaser like. Showed barely anything.

  • gabyck

That’s stupid from Summit, how can you ask something like that on these times? u_u If you know where to look you can find it

  • gabyck

I was expecting the trailer when I went to watch THG but they didn’t show it :( it looks like something for the U.S only

  • Allie Rose Mellark

lol Last night at Hunger Games they showed this trailier and right after they showed Abraham Lincion: Vampire Hunter and someone in the audience said “No Abe Not Bella!!!” it was hilarious

  • Kelly Barker

I feel like seeing these movies have become more of a chore than an event.

  • Pbjcrazed

it was defiantly a teaser, hence the name. but i can’t help get excited even if i’m a harry potter fan girl and hunger games fan girl

  • TwilightSagaCRAZED

I am a HUGE fan of the twilight saga and i have to admit… when i went to go c THG i was hopeful… but then i got this two second trailer and i was MAD! I mean, where is Renesmee? the Volturi? the New covens of vamps that come? I can’t wait for the full one….. and I want the movie to come out before November! O, and right after the bd part 2 trailer showed, a snow white and the huntsman trailer with kristen stewart showed and it was like three minutes long! I was upset….

  • TwilightSagaCRAZED

BTW, i thought that when a movie trailer appears in a movie theater, it would be a full trailer… NOT THE TEASER TRAILER!!!!!!

  • TwilightSagaCRAZED

DOES ANYONE KNOW WHEN THE FULL TRAILER IS COMING OUT?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! i NEED 2 c it!!!!!!
