That might actually be the most entertaining plot synopsis of On the Road I’ve ever read. It’s one of my favorite books, and I’m definitely interested in seeing the movie, but I’m not sure if it’ll live up to my expectations.

This looks really good.  I have never read the book and I don’t think I will.  This is one of those where I will just be seeing the movie so I don’t have to be disappointed by anything.  I would go to theater for this though.

That’s literally the saddest thing I’ve heard all day.

Well, if it makes you feel better, I’m also one of those people that have never read the book but after seeing this trailer I’ll most definitely pick it up at the book store and read it before even contemplating watching the movie version. =)

Mmm…We’ll see. I don’t know if you can turn this book into a movie. The lack of comments is disheartening, but I suppose that’s fewer people frustrated with a movie that can only scratch the surface of the book.
Maybe the movie will surprise me. We’ll see.
