‘Beautiful Creatures’ casts Alice Englert and Jack O’Connell as leads

It seems that Beautiful Creatures is picking up steam in the casting department. Last week it was announced that Viola Davis will be playing Amma and now Ethan and Lena have been cast.

Ethan Wate will be played by Jack O’Connell who was last seen in the UK version of Skins and The Runaway.

Lena Duchannes will be played by Alice Englert daughter to director Jane Campion and film-maker Colin Englert. Alice just finished filming Singularity and will begin filming Bomb with Elle Fanning later this year.

What do you think of the Jack and Alice do they have what it takes to be Ethan and Lena?

i dont like the cast i never imagine like that when i read the book

I could deal with Ethan but not the girl they chose as Lena, she’s just not how I imagined her at all
