R&B/soul star Macy Gray is coming out with a new album—Covered—in March. The LP will feature covers of songs by Arcade Fire, Radiohead, MCR and more. Plus she has a free single up for grabs this week!

From the press release by 429 Records:

Titled COVERED—the album is an all new recording featuring Gray’s inimitable take on pop and rock songs. Arcade Fire’s ‘Wake Up,’ Radiohead’s ‘Creep,’ My Chemical Romance’s ‘Teenager’ and Eurythmics ‘Here Comes The Rain Again’ are a few of the tracks off the album forthcoming in March.

Her new holiday single, ‘What I Want For Christmas’ will be available for free download on Christmas day (Dec. 25) as part of Amazon’s 25 Days Of Free Holiday Music promotion.

Do you think you’ll buy Macy’s cover album? Which song are you most interested in hearing?

The last time I heard anything from Macy Gray was the “As Told by Ginger” theme song. I’m actually interested to hear new music from her.
