The first three official images from Kathryn Bigelow’s Osama bin Laden thriller Zero Dark Thirty have been released!

The film focuses on the black ops mission to capture or kill Osama bin Laden, which culminated in his death in May of 2011 in a compound in Pakistan. The Hurt Locker team of Kathyrn Bigelow and Mark Boal have been developing the project since as early as 2008.

The film, which stars a heap of big names including Jason Clarke (Public Enemies), Chris Pratt (Parks and Recreation), Joel Edgerton (Warrior), Jessica Chastain (The Help), Mark Strong (Sherlock Holmes), Edgar Ramirez (Carlos), Kyle Chandler (Friday Night Lights), stuntman Nash Edgerton, Jennifer Ehle (Contagion), Harold Perrineau Jr. (Lost), Ricky Sekhon and Mark Duplass (Safety Not Guaranteed). Zero Dark Thirty is scheduled for a December 19, 2012 release. What do you think of what we’ve seen so far?
