Just over a year after the death of Robin Williams, his daughter Zelda has taken to Twitter to mourn yet another person lost to suicide.

In August 2014, the beloved actor-comedian Robin Williams passed away, killing himself after a long struggle with depression.

A year later, his daughter Zelda Williams continues to fight for suicide prevention, and to mourn those who lose the battle.

Zelda took to Twitter to confess herself “heartbroken” over the death of 30-year-old Irish make-up artist Cathriona White, who was found dead in her L.A. residence earlier this week, in an apparent suicide.

In the tweet, Zelda said she was, “heartbroken to continue to watch sweet, kind souls be consumed by darkness.” She also added a link to Pieta House, an Irish suicide prevention clinic:

Cathriona White was the on/off girlfriend of Jim Carrey for almost three years. Carrey released a statement to Just Jared after learning of his White’s death, saying that the news was like being “hit with a lightning bolt.”

The World Health Organisation (WHO) has estimated that approximately one million people die from suicide each year. That is one death every 40 seconds. It is predicted that by 2020, the rate of death will double.
