Fans let out a sigh of relief everywhere as AMC reveals that Chris Hardwick will not moderate The Walking Dead panel at Comic-Con this year. Giving Yvette Nicole Brown a well deserved shot at it!

Following the recent allegations against Chris Hardwick, fans of The Walking Dead have been hoping to see the network pull him as the moderator from their Comic-Con panel. With just two weeks until the event kicks off, it wasn’t looking good.

But luckily, Deadline revealed that actress, and super fan Yvette Nicole Brown will be taking over the role as moderator for both The Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead panels!

Though AMC hasn’t released a statement on the switch yet, this seems like a really logical and great move by the network. Not only is Yvette Nicole Brown talented and entertaining, she’s also extremely knowledgable about the fandom. She’s known for appearing on Talking Dead with a notebook of her thoughts from watching the episodes and always has great insight.

Personally, I think AMC should take this a step further and replace Chris Hardwick with Yvette Nicole Brown on Talking Dead. It’s totally possible that they’re using this panel as a feeler to see how fans will react to the replacement. Of course, I expect nothing less than for Yvette Nicole Brown to excel at this and make the fandom proud!

The Fear the Walking Dead and The Walking Dead panels will take place on July 20 panel in Hall H.
