With season 4 of Community debuting this past Thursday, we’re roughly halfway to our “Six Seasons and a Movie” demand. To celebrate, we’ve compiled a list of indicators to prove you’re a Community fan.

While the show may be, how do we put this gently, ratings challenged, Community has always enjoyed an incredibly passionate fanbase. Community fans have stuck with the show through thick and thin…and there’s been a lot of thick (that’s the bad one, right? That phrase doesn’t really hold up).

Each season has faced the overhanging scythe of cancellation. The show has been mysteriously removed from the schedule twice and has lost both its creator and one of its stars. Still, the fans have remain dedicated – even with season four’s version of the show under new leadership drawing its highest Nielsen ratings yet.

And like any good fanbase, the Community legion has developed its own lexicon of phrases and memes. These of course include the easily hashtag-able “Six seasons and a movie,” “This is the darkest timeline,” “Britta’d it,” and our personal favorite “you’re the AT&T of people.” It’s likely that two Community fans could have an entire conversation with an outside observer not knowing what they’re talking about.
