Part of the X-Men: Days of Future Past trailer has leaked online featuring Professor Xavier.

We attended the San Diego Comic-Con surprise Days of Future Past panel last month and can confirm that what we see in the trailer below is what screened for fans.

This particular version of the leaked footage appears to have been shot at Fantasia Fest where director Bryan Singer hosted a Q&A with fans and features a great voiceover from Charles Xavier.

Watch the partial X-Men: Days of Future Past trailer below…

UPDATE: We have pulled the video at the request of the studio. We’ll be sure to release the official X-Men: Days of Future Past trailer as soon as it’s available.

In the trailer we see shots of Anna Paquin (Rogue), Ellen Page (Shadowcat), Ian McKellan (Older Magneto), and Patrick Stewart (Professor Charles Xavier) amongst others. It seems as though Xavier is asking Wolverine to do what he did for him when he gave Logan a look at his past.

We’re not sure when this will make its official online debut, but we’re hoping soon because the preview is excellent and worth multiple views. Fans may recall the song played in the trailer is from the Inception soundtrack. It certainly works for the Xavier voiceover.

Director Bryan Singer’s latest approach for keeping fans informed with the filming of X-Men: Days of Future Past, by tweeting loads of set photos, appears to be a success so far. The official viral website being released also seems to be making waves with fans.

It definitely gives us fun tidbits to chew on until X-Men: Days of Future Past’s release date, May 23, 2014.
