We’ll have to wait until December for our first look at X-Men: Apocalypse, as the trailer will air ahead of Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Bryan Singer is directing the final installment of the new X-Men trilogy, which is set 10 years after X-Men: Days of Future Past (uh… 10 years after the flashbacks, that is). Charles Xavier (James McAvoy) and Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence) lead the team of mutants as they fight Apocalypse (Oscar Isaac, who’s incidentally also one of the main stars of The Force Awakens).

We’ll meet younger versions of Jean Grey (Sophie Turner), Cyclops (Tye Sheridan) and Storm (Alexandra Shipp). The movie also stars Olivia Munn as Psylocke, Michael Fassbender as Magneto, Kodi Smit-McPhee as Nightcrawler, and Ben Hardy as Angel.

And now we know when to expect the trailer! Collider has learned that the first Apocalypse trailer will debut with the sure-to-be smash hit Star Wars: The Force Awakens, joining Captain America: Civil War‘s first trailer on the big screen.

The Force Awakens premieres on December 18 in the States, coming to most of Europe on December 16 or 17.

While the Civil War trailer debuting ahead of The Force Awakens is hardly a shocker, since both Marvel and Lucasfilm fall under the Disney umbrella, we imagine that Fox will have had to shell out the big bucks in order to get their hot 2016 property in front of the biggest film of the year.

Producer Simon Kinberg told Collider that the trailer will probably be more along the lines of a teaser, saying, “Our first trailer will be on Star Wars: The Force Awakens. It’s our first thing out there so it is somewhat of a teaser but it’s certainly longer than a minute and it has a ton of cool stuff in it.”

X-Men: Apocalypse hits cinemas on May 27, 2016. Here’s the official synopsis:

Since the dawn of civilization, he was worshiped as a god. Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel’s X-Men universe, amassed the powers of many other mutants, becoming immortal and invincible. Upon awakening after thousands of years, he is disillusioned with the world as he finds it and recruits a team of powerful mutants, including a disheartened Magneto (Michael Fassbender), to cleanse mankind and create a new world order, over which he will reign. As the fate of the Earth hangs in the balance, Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) with the help of Professor X (James McAvoy) must lead a team of young X-Men to stop their greatest nemesis and save mankind from complete destruction.
