We have a couple updates regarding the United States X Factor to share with you today, and they’re both pretty significant.

First, as Simon Cowell and company try to plan out the second season of the show, there is talk of using two hosts to anchor the program. What’s interesting is that season one was originally set to have two hosts (one of them being now-axed judge Nicole Scherzinger), but Corbin Blue dropped out which started a shake-up.

Young Rachel Crow, who pulled at the heart strings of viewers – particularly when she was eliminated and dropped to the floor crying – now has a deal with Nickelodeon for a television show. News had circulated a couple months ago that she had been in talks with Disney, but it looks like Nick eventually won the bid.

With Crow now working on a TV show, it’ll be neat to see something presumably musical on Nick. The channel has recently struggled in the ratings with children.
