The show follows Wynona as she ventures back to her hometown of Purgatory where she uses her special inherited powers to battle revenants— reincarnated versions of the outlaws her great-great-grandfather killed— in an effort to send them back to hell.

Over the course of its four season run, Wynona Earp has been celebrated for its LGBTQ+ representation, going on to score four nominations at the annual GLAAD Awards for Outstanding Drama Series.
