The fourth expansion to Blizzard’s long-running MMO World of Warcraft hits both digitally and in stores this September.

Mists of Pandaria has been given an official release date of September 25, Blizzard announced today.

The content added by this expansion includes a new race, the continent of Pandaria, a new Monk class and a level cap expansion from 85 to 90.

The expansion alone will cost players $39.99 online and in-stores, while two more special editions, a Digital Deluxe edition and a Collector’s Edition, will run $59.99 and $79.99 respectively.

The Digital Deluxe Edition is exclusive to Blizzard’s online store and will net you an in-game mount, an in-game pet, Starcraft 2 Battle.net portraits and a Diablo 3 banner sigil and accent.

The Collector’s Edition will be available exclusively through retail outlets and will include a behind-the-scenes DVD and Blu-ray, Collector’s Edition soundtrack CD, art book and mouse pad.

Will you be returning to Azeroth to take on this new expansion or are you hopping onto the Guild Wars 2 hype train?
