Will the Han Solo movie really be better than The Empire Strikes Back!? It’s possible, according to Woody Harrelson.

Woody Harrelson is joining Alden Ehrenreich, Donald Glover and Emilia Clarke in the untitled Han Solo movie, the second Star Wars anthology story that travels back in time to explore an unknown period of the saga’s history.

Very little is known about the movie at this point, but if you’re super looking forward to it, Harrelson’s comments in a recent Collider interview might leave you very excited…

“You know, any movie’s only as good as the director or in this case directors, and so I have a suspicion, because if you look at the whole, all the movies, the backlog of every one of these movies, there’s a lot of great stuff, but one might not be not as good with the writing in this or the acting in that or the directing in that, this has great actors, great directors, great script, and I really feel like we’re gonna make the best one.”

That’s big talk coming on the heels of Rogue One, but hey, anything’s possible in a galaxy far, far away!

The Han Solo movie directors have certainly proven their competency: They are none other than Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, who brought us The LEGO Movie.
