Though still not officially announced, Universal Orlando is definitely and quietly working on the Wizarding World of Harry Potter expansion at Universal Studios.

Today construction photos surfaced which, if legitimate, appear to show the first pieces of St. Pancras Station at King’s Cross.

These photos were taken by OrlandoUnited.com forum member DisneyHead who found them at one of Universal’s construction sites. One could guess that these are exterior pieces to the train station or any of the other buildings being constructed. Rumored areas of Wizarding World’s Diagon Alley include Gringotts, The Leaky Cauldron, and of course the train station.

As we’ve been sharing with you over the past several months, Universal plans to build a working Hogwarts Express to connect the current Wizarding World at Islands of Adventure to the new Diagon Alley at Universal Studios. Presumably tickets for both of Universal’s parks will be needed in order to ride the Hogwarts Express.

Universal has only confirmed that they are merely working on an expansion. No other details have been shared.

With the land cleared and these photos beginning to surface, we’re hoping Universal makes an announcement with more details soon.
