Universal Orlando will unveil new details about The Wizarding World of Harry Potter’s Diagon Alley expansion later this week.

The announcement on Friday will focus on Diagon Alley’s Hogwarts Express train which will carry guests between the two Wizarding World lands, according to a statement from the theme park.

In a teaser video released on Monday, we see the iconic train making one of its many journeys across the English countryside. “Introducing non-stop service from London to Hogsmeade,” the video says:

Universal shared a few details about the Hogwarts Express in January when they presented new information about Diagon Alley. We received a brief glimpse into the passenger cars themselves when actress Evanna Lynch shared her thoughts with Universal’s Senior VP of Creative Thierry Coup. As you can tell from the photo below, the train cars look very much like how they do in the films:

Rumors have suggested that the train will present story lines to viewers as they make their journey between the two lands. A two-park ticket will be required to ride the train because Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley are located in separate Universal Parks (Islands of Adventure and Studios respectively).

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter’s Diagon Alley is expected to open this summer. See our previous story for gorgeous concept art and to learn about the various attractions that are coming to the new land.

In related news, Universal has shared a photo of actor Richard Gere visiting the Wizarding World over the weekend:

We’ll be sure to share the new details about the train this Friday. Stay tuned!
