Check out exclusive panels from Wires and Nerve by Marissa Meyer, a new graphic novel continuing the tale of The Lunar Chronicles.

Illustrated by artist Douglas Holgate, Wires and Nerve tells a new story, centering on Cinder’s beloved android Iko.

“When rogue packs of wolf-hybrid soldiers threaten the tenuous peace alliance between Earth and Luna,” Macmillan says, “Iko takes it upon herself to hunt down the soldiers’ leader. She is soon working with a handsome royal guard who forces her to question everything she knows about love, loyalty, and her own humanity.”

And fans of The Lunar Chronicles have extra incentive to check out Wires and Nerve. In addition to weaving its own story, the graphic novel will also feature appearances from Cinder and the crew of the roguish Rampion.

Hypable has an exclusive look at panels from Wires and Nerve, Vol. 1, as Iko enters a den of dangerous wolf hybrids. Catch the earlier pages at the A.V. Club and Newsarama!

Having wrapped up the main story of The Lunar Chronicles in Winter, Marissa Meyer has lately turned her attention to reimagining another classic story. The Queen of Hearts, of Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland, gets the Wicked treatment in Meyer’s newest novel, Heartless. Meyer shared her thoughts on the new project with Hypable last month.

Wires and Nerve, Vol. 1, will be available on Jan. 31 from Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and your local independent bookstore.
