Will Arnett won our hearts as Lego Batman and is staying in the Lego family, hosting a new competition series called Lego Masters.

While we might not have another Lego movie and Lego Batman adventure to look forward to at this point, Will Arnett isn’t ready to say farewell to the world of Legos.

According to Variety, Will Arnett has officially signed on as the host of a new competition series called Lego Masters. The series will air on Fox and will premiere in February of 2020.

The series will be exactly what it sounds like: a group of expert Lego builders will come together and face off in a series of Lego building challenges. Will Arnett, who will also be executive producing the series, will be hosting the show as well as introducing the challenges, putting the contestants’ builds to the test, and generally encouraging the contestants along the way.

So basically, this sounds like if Great British Bake Off was about Legos rather than delicious baked goods.

Speaking of British competition shows, Lego Masters is actually based off of a British competition series of the same name that first premiered in 2017 on Channel 4. Like its British counterpart, the show will culminate in a finale where the top builders get to face off for a grand prize. The winner of Lego Masters will win a title, a Lego trophy, and a cash prize.

For his part, Will Arnett expressed his excitement to stick with the Lego family for this series in a statement released to Variety. He said, “It gives me peace of mind to be able to continue building my relationship with The Lego Group. Ultimately, my goal is Danish citizenship.”

Rob Wade of Fox Entertainment said this about the show and Arnett’s hosting chops: “This show is an hour of fun for the whole family and Will is the ideal host. He’s already a member of the Lego family and his passion for this show is infectious. He’s also a great collaborator and, let’s be honest, he’s hilarious – which makes him perfect for this competition.”

We can’t wait to check out this exciting new reality series. And with a host like Will Arnett, it is bound to be tons of fun for the entire family.
