Netflix is teaming up again with Will Arnett, but it’s not for the next season of Arrested Development*.

The online streaming service has ordered a new eight-episode comedy series called Flaked co-created by and starring Arnett.

According to a press release from Netflix, Flaked is “set in the insular world of Venice, California” and “is the serio-comic story of a self-appointed ‘guru’ who falls for the object of his best friend’s fascination. Soon the tangled web of half-truths and semi-bullshit that underpins his all-important image and sobriety begins to unravel. Arnett plays Chip, a man doing his honest best to stay one step ahead of his own lies.”

In a statement, Arnett describes the show as a passion project. “We’re very excited to partner with Netflix — the home of original, original content — and the network I knew would be the ideal home for this passion project.”

Arnett also serves as an executive producer with Mark Chappell. The two co-created and co-wrote the series.

Notably, the Arrested Development creator is also involved as an executive producer.

Flaked will premiere on Netflix worldwide in 2016.
