The CW has debuted three clips from the new Whose Line Is It Anyway which premieres on the network next week. In addition to your favorite cast members, stars from Glee, The Walking Dead, and Nikita take the stage too.

In this first clip from the new Whose Line Is It Anyway?, Wayne Brady serenades Nikita star Maggie Q with a song in the style of a Broadway performance. Ryan Stiles and Colin Mochrie, who were on the original program with Wayne which ended in 2007, are also in the sketch to provide back up dance moves.

Glee star Kevin McHale participates in a sing off sketch in this second clip with Brady:

Finally, check out The Walking Dead‘s Laura Cohan pulling off a zombie sketch with Stiles, Mochrie, and Brady:

Whereas seasons 1 through 8 used very few guest stars, season 9 appears to rely on them. The additional, one-off cast members may be added to attract new audiences who hadn’t heard of the show previously.

Whose Line Is It Anyway? relies on improvised comedy from four participants taking on sketches that they are not briefed on before filming. Notably, longtime host Drew Carey did not return for the show (likely because of his committment to CBS’ The Price is Right). The show is now hosted by Aisha Tyler.

We’re glad to see that Brady, Stiles, and Mochrie back in the saddle because they were the life blood of the show when it ran from 1998 to 2007.
