The short answer? No one.

The longer answer is also no one, but with a little more explanation. And pictures.

On the first episode of Eye Candy, we were introduced to a whole host of characters. A few of them were creepy, yes, but had you asked us if we thought all of them could be the potential murderer, we would have laughed in your paranoid face.

We’re not laughing now.

In contrast, on last night’s Eye Candy, season 1, episode 2, “BRB,” we got a better look at the characters we’ve met previously, and this time they all looked a lot more sinister.

So, who can we trust and who is definitely acting shady? We break down the actions of a few Eye Candy characters that we’re just a tad suspicious of right now.

George

Who does hacker extraordinaire Lindy Sampson call when she needs help? George. He may seem cute and jovial, but we know he’s just as smart — if not smarter than — Lindy, and that means he can hack phones, computers, and even cars. Our very helpful and also very creepy voice over has informed us that the murderer wants to touch Lindy, so perhaps George has been feeling ignored by his friend and coworker? After all, she only seems to hang out with him when she wants something. Maybe he also wants something in return.

Tommy

We know, we know. How can Tommy be the bad guy? He was Ben’s best friend! He’s a cop! He was in the trunk of the runaway car for crying out loud! While all of these are true, we present you with Exhibit A: He was the first person to show up after Ben was murdered. Okay, so maybe he was the one Ben called for backup, but we can’t discredit this fact just yet. Besides, there’s still Exhibit B: “I prefer blondes.” He says it to Connor as a way to let him down easy, but remember that the previous victim was a blonde. Oh, and so was the one before that. Is that just a coincidence? Maybe. But we’re not willing to bet our life on it.

Connor

Connor’s snarky attitude and dry humor make him kind of endearing, but after last night’s episode, a giant red flag went up in our minds. We know he doesn’t like Lindy, so we don’t really think he could be the serial killer, but that doesn’t mean he’s not working with the murderer instead. After all, he was taking pictures of the gruesome crime scene photos. Who does that? Creepy people we can’t trust, that’s who.

Jake

Jake may be super cute and also a good cook, but he’s definitely got CREEP written all over him. He might not be as forward as Reese was, but let’s not forget how he showed up at Lindy’s doorstep uninvited to surprise her with a home-cooked meal. That might have been adorable if it wasn’t for the fact that this was their first real date and she didn’t tell him where she lived. Good thing Sophia showed up.

Sophia

Or is it!? Look, we’re really stressed out about this show already and we think it’s much safer not to trust anyone at this point. Sure, Sophia seems like a great best friend, but think about all the access the killer has had to Lindy. There were cameras in her apartment, her personal items were hacked, and hundreds of pictures have been taken of her already. The male voice over could be a way to throw us off the scent. After all, Sophia said she took one look at Lindy and just knew she had to get to know her. Maybe she and Connor are in on it together. Who knows? Certainly not us!

Do you have any theories about who we can trust? Do you think there’s a conspiracy going on here, or is the answer much simpler? Let us know in the comments below!
