Following countless tragedies around the world, the Black Eyed Peas remade their hit song “Where Is the Love?” and released a new music video to go with it.

“Where is the love?” is the question a lot of us have been asking ourselves following police brutality and terrorist attacks around the globe. There are almost too many to count, and yet each one sears itself into your brain, unforgettable in its destruction, both physically and mentally.

In response, the Black Eyed Peas have released a new music video to go along with their “Where Is the Love?” 2016 remix.

The original, released in 2003, was in response to the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center, but the new one addresses the widespread tragedies that have occurred more recently.

The video features all four of the original members, as well as a slew of celebrity cameos, some of which sing and some of which show up for just a brief moment to lend weight to the message being conveyed.

You can watch the “Where Is the Love?” 2016 remix below:

The cameo list is extensive, but includes stars such as Mary J. Blige, Jessie J, Usher, Justin Timberlake, Snoop Dogg, Jaime Foxx, Shailene Woodley, and Jaden Smith, to name only a fraction of those who helped the group with this project.

Interspersed with everyone’s somber, black-and-white appearances are images from terrorist attacks around the world, which drives the message home in ways even the new lyrics can’t.

Proceeds from the “Where Is the Love?” remix will go to the i.am.angel foundation, a non-profit founded by will.i.am. Its goal is to transform lives through education, inspiration and opportunity.

The new video also reuses the question mark logo from the original, which you can watch below.
