HBO premiered a brand new trailer for Westworld season 2 during Super Bowl LII! Check out what the hosts are up to here.
HBO used their first Super Bowl ad in 20 years to give us a look at the upcoming season 2 of Westworld! The trailer was directed by the series’ co-creator, Jonathan Nolan, and also served to reveal the release date of Westworld season 2. The show will return to HBO on April 22, 2018!
The trailer depicts the hosts’ revolution, as they attempt to break free from the repetitive narratives that they’ve been forced to live through, all in the name of entertainment. While the Westworld season 2 trailer doesn’t divulge much in the way of plot, it does give us a beautiful look at what’s to come in the second season.
Even when Westworld gives you information, it’s never really telling you anything, so this bare bones trailer is fitting for the show. We just can’t wait to see what happens to the world and to these characters in April!
