Certain stars from The West Wing are getting the band back together for events across Ohio in honor of the Democratic nominee, Hillary Clinton.

The West Wing may have aired its final episode 10 years ago, but fans of the show will never forget the impact the series has made on their lives.

I’m new to the series (so far I’ve watched season 1 and season 2, and I’m nearly done with season 3), but I’ve already fallen in love with each one of these characters. It’s incredible how funny, dramatic, and inspirational the show can be between one heartbeat and the next.

Luckily for us, some of the actors who made us fall in love with The West Wing aren’t above gathering the troops together for a cause that matters to them. In that case, it’s Hillary for America.

The Clinton campaign announced that Richard Schiff (Toby), Allison Janney (C.J.), Bradley Whitford (Josh), Dulé Hill (Charlie), Joshua Malina (Will), and Mary McCormack (Kate) are set to stump for Hillary Clinton in Ohio.

For those of you who’ve seen all seven season of The West Wing (or paid attention in your U.S. history class) you probably know what stumping is.

For those of you, like me, who have no idea, Google is your friend. Candidates, and their advocates, often travel the country and make short speeches before opening the floor up for questions. This is stumping.

Some of their stops include Mahoning Valley, Cleveland, Sandusky, and Toledo on Saturday (Sept. 24), as well as Dayton and Columbus on Sunday (Sept. 25).

This isn’t even the first time we’re hearing of a West Wing cast member supporting the Clinton campaign this week. Martin Sheen showed up in Joss Whedon’s star-studded pro-Hillary Clinton video, which has already gone insanely viral.
