Another weekend come and gone, and with all the Comic-Con frenzy we almost forgot a new movie has hit theaters, as Ice Age: Continental Drift won the weekend.

#1. Ice Age: Continental Drift

Weekend: $46 million
Theaters: 3,881
Budget: $230 million
CinemaScore: A-
Rotten Tomatoes: 40%
Hypable Grade: N/A

Just the third biggest opening domestically in the franchise, Ice Age: Continental Drift will still be marked as a success, thanks in large part to a massive international opening that couldn’t quite be matched domestically. Still, Fox will be happy with $385 million so far with room to gross even more, as this will be an ideal family draw opposite The Dark Knight Rises next weekend.

It’ll be interesting to see where this franchise goes, as from a worldwide stand-point Ice Age 4 is dominating, and yet the $46 million domestically for opening weekend, while not bad per se, just doesn’t add up to expectations.

Did you see Ice Age: Continental Drift this weekend? Let us know what you thought in the comments!

#2. The Amazing Spider-Man

A 44% drop isn’t terrible in its second weekend for The Amazing Spider-Man, but you’ve got to think that this is the end of the film’s box office revenue, as The Dark Knight Rises will swoop in and steal the film’s demo.

Yet, $520 million worldwide ain’t terrible, so you’ve got to think this one will be getting its sequel. Perhaps next time the Sony marketing folks won’t put it up against Christopher Nolan.

Weekend: $35 million (-43.5%) | Theaters: 4,318 | Budget: $230 million | Hypable Grade: B-

#3. Ted

Honestly it’s a little baffling how well Ted has fared so far, as it’s up to $190 million worldwide in just its third weekend. Yep, Fox has got to be kicking themselves for not getting in on the Seth McFarland-feature film bandwagon, as he’s proven the Family Guy formula translates well to the big screen.

Have you seen Ted yet? Let us know if the hype is well-deserved!

Weekend: $22.1 million (-32.4%) | Theaters: 3,303 | Budget: $50 million | Hypable Grade: N/A

#4. Brave

Brave is already the tenth highest grossing Pixar film of all-time, which isn’t bad considering there are still territories where it’s yet to open. An encouraging sign is that Ice Age 4 didn’t appear to do too much damage to the film’s box office share, so it could still do some work domestically in the coming weeks.

Weekend: $10.6 million (-45.9%) | Theaters: 3,392 | Budget: $185 million | Hypable Grade: N/A

#5. Magic Mike

Yep, Magic Mike is just about the definition of a success. No wonder they want to do a sequel. $91 million domestically on just a $7 million budget is just dynamite, as Soderbergh proves once again to be a force to be reckoned with. Oh yeah, Tatum ain’t bad either.

Weekend: $15.6 million (-60.1%) | Theaters: 3,090 | Budget: $7 million | Hypable Grade: B+

#6. Savages

For having a “C+” CinemaScore, Savages took only a 45% dip, which isn’t as bad as was expected. Still, just $32 million worldwide on a $45 million budget is not a good sign for Universal.

Weekend: $8.7 million (-45.5%) | Theaters: 2,635 | Budget: $45 million | Hypable Grade: N/A

#7. Tyler Perry’s Madea’s Witness Protection

With just a $20 million budget, Tyler Perry’s Madea’s Witness Protection proves once again the Tyler Perry formula is a success. With $55 million so far, expect to see another Madea film in the not-too-distant future.

Weekend: $5.6 million (-45%) | Theaters: 2,004 | Budget: $20 million | Hypable Grade: N/A

#8. Katy Perry: Part of Me

Yep, Katy Perry: Part of Me continues to underperform. Good thing those concert tickets are selling out so fast, as $22 million on a $12 million budget just isn’t going to cut it…Yet.

Weekend: $3.7 million (-47.7%) | Theaters: 2,732 | Budget: $12 million | Hypable Grade: N/A

#9. Moonrise Kingdom

Moonrise Kingdom continues to perform well, but the $3,900 theater average this weekend doesn’t look quite as strong as pervious weekends. Still, $32 million on a $16 million budget for a 2x multiplier is pretty strong, especially considering it still has room to run. Have you seen it? If so, take a look at our discussion with Wes Anderson Here!

Weekend: $3.6 million (-19%) | Theaters: 924 | Budget: $16 million | Hypable Grade: Here

#10. Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted

Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted continues to trudge along domestically, but that $473 million gross worldwide ain’t bad. That’s about all to say on the subject this weekend.

Weekend: $3.5 million (-53.5%) | Theaters: 2,285 | Budget: 145 million | Hypable Grade: B
