ABC has made the first twenty minutes of next Thursday’s series premiere of Once Upon a Time in Wonderland available online for free!

Ahead of the series premiere on Thursday, October 10, ABC’s release of exclusive footage from Once Upon a Time in Wonderland allows viewers the chance to dangle their toes in the rabbit hole.

The clip offers fans of the shows origin Once Upon a Time a chance to see how creators Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis create the connection between Storybrooke and Wonderland. The answer, it seems, rests with an extremely punctual rabbit.

The series premiere of Once Upon a Time in Wonderland will air Thursday, October 10 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC. The start of this episode takes the audience to Storybrooke during the season premiere of season 2 of Once Upon a Time ‘Broken.’ When the knave of hearts decides to follow the White Rabbit to aid Alice, it looks as though the time spent in Storybrooke is merely a nod to the new show’s roots.

Episode 1, ‘Down the Rabbit Hole’ utilizes flashbacks to offset Alice’s cold interrogation with asylum doctors offering to remove all memories of Wonderland. Alice is not a character audiences will find themselves commiserating with for long. As she proves to the Knave of Hearts, standing between Alice and her true love Cyrus is not a wise plan.

Are these twenty minutes enough to make you want to follow Alice back to Wonderland?
