The first action-packed trailer for the film Safe House has been released. The film stars Ryan Reynolds (Green Lantern) as a rookie CIA operative tasked with holding a renegade agent (Denzel Washington, Training Day), while dodging a group of mercenaries trying to kill them. When a CIA-operated safe house is targeted by a group of bad guys, the facility’s house-sitter (Reynolds) is tasked with the dangerous job of moving the criminal (Washington) who is being hidden there to another secure location.

In addition to Reynolds and Washington, the film stars Brendan Gleeson (Harry Potter), Sam Shepard (Black Hawk Down), and Vera Farmiga (Up in the Air). The film is directed by Swedish up-and-comer Daniel Espinosa.
