The first full length trailer for Impeachment: American Crime Story is here, and it’s bound to get you even more excited for the series to debut next month.
One of the most infamous scandals to rock the nation will be the focus of the newest season of FX’s critically acclaimed anthology series, American Crime Story.
Based on the book A Vast Conspiracy: The Real Story of the Sex Scandal that Nearly Brought Down a President by Jeffrey Toobin, Impeachment centers on the sex scandal that took place between President Bill Clinton and then White House intern, Monica Lewinsky, and the Impeachment trial against the former president that followed.
Though FX teased viewers with a short teaser for Impeachment: American Crime Story, it’s nothing compared to the trailer for the forthcoming season that was just released today (August 12).
“You get to work in the West Wing as of this morning,” we hear a member of the White House staff tell a slew of new interns. “You’re going to be working beside the people who run the world. Please, be professional.”
From there, we get our first real glimpse of Beanie Feldstein in action as Lewinsky herself, who, right off the bat, shares a lingering look with the President (played by Clive Owen).
As the trailer unfolds, we get glimpses of how the sex scandal was brought to light, and the drama that unfolds as a result.

Set to star opposite Feldstein and Owen in the forthcoming season are Sarah Paulson (The People vs. OJ Simpson), Taran Killiam (Nature Cat), and Billie Eichner (BROS).
Paulson takes on the role of Linda Tripp, meanwhile, Killiam and Eichner will play Steve Jones and Matt Drudge, respectively.
Behind the camera, producers on the series include Produced by Sarah Burgess, Ryan Murphy, Nina Jacobson, Brad Simpson, Brad Falchuk, Larry Karaszewski, Scott Alexander, Alexis Martin Woodall, and Sarah Paulson.
In addition, Monica Lewinsky herself is set to serve as an executive producer on the project.
American Crime Story: Impeachment premieres via FX on September 7.
