We learned a while ago that the cast of the upcoming Les Miserables on-screen adaptation would be singing live on screen, so it is a little harder for production to keep the paparazzi from following the sound of music.

Fans of Les Miserables will recognize this moment from early in the musical after Jean Valjean’s first soliloquy to himself after being saved by a priest who gives him a set of silver candles. That’s his parole slip that he’s tearing up and we can expect his scraggly beard to be gone by the time he decides to become a mayor.

What do you think? Excited to hear more? Do you think that Les Miserables will meet its December 2012 deadline?
