You may admire Alan Rickman for his performances as Severus Snape, Hans, or even the Blue Caterpillar – but what about as an angry tea maker?

This piece is from “Portraits in Dramatic Time” by David Michalek. It was originally an 11-second video but slowed down to become seven minutes. With the score “Mind Heist” from Inception added, before your eyes grew this fantastic little feature.

If you then watch the original 11-second piece, you’ll appreciate just how much emotion Rickman puts into his performances for even a short amount of time. Only when it’s slowed down can you appreciate the acting frame-by-frame.
