To pay tribute to Robin Williams following his tragic death on Monday, three Disney channels will be airing Aladdin this weekend.

The 1992 Disney animated film Aladdin starring Robin Williams as the voice of the Genie will air six times between Saturday and Monday on Disney Channel, Disney XD, and Disney Junior.

The schedule is as follows:

– Saturday, August 16 (9:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel
– Sunday, August 17 (11:00 a.m. and 7:30 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney XD
– Sunday, August 17 (6:00 p.m., ET/PT) and Monday, August 18 (11:00 a.m., ET/PT) on Disney Junior

Besides what Williams brings to the film as the Genie, Aladdin shines thanks to its beautiful music, story, and animation style. The film is considered to be part of Disney’s “renaissance period,” in which the company produced several fantastic films. Other Disney movies considered part of the renaissance include The Little Mermaid, The Lion King, and Beauty and the Beast.

This past Tuesday, the cast of Aladdin on Broadway paid tribute to Williams with an additional performance of “Friend Like Me” at the end of the show – watch the touching moment.
