Fans have a lot to say about Harry Potter films leaving store shelves starting December 29th when Warner Brothers ceases production.

Today Entertainment Weekly spoke to the studio about the new, and they provided some interesting hints about the future.

This is what they had to say about a potential new set in 2012:

Warner Bros. doesn’t intend to wait as long, and there are already plans to “eventize” Potter’s return. “There is discussion internally about aggregating assets from all of these films over the last decade and adding some new things — we’ve never done an Ultimate Edition on the final two films — and doing some grand kind of piece,” says Baker. “It could be the end of 2012 or the beginning of ’13.”

When they say “eventizing” we imagine another Celebration of the Harry Potter Films event like the one hitting Orlando in about two weeks.

So will you be purchasing a complete set this year, or will you wait for another more complete one in the future?
