Actor Rob Corddry, who’s always had a career in comedy, is offering zombie acting tips based on his experience on set of Warm Bodies.

This short was written and directed by Warm Bodies director Jonathan Levine, hence the extensive behind-the-scenes insight and comedy. In this piece, Corddry reveals he’s extremely committed to his Warm Bodies role and proves that his work has paid off by confirming the next film project he’ll be taking on. Co-stars Nicholas Hoult (R), Teresa Palmer (Julie), and Analeigh Tipton (Nora) also star in the piece.

Just yesterday a slew of Warm Bodies promotional material was released, and author Isaac Marion revealed the first part of his prequel titled The New Hunger.

Warm Bodies was written and directed by Levine (50/50) based on the novel by Marion. After a zombie epidemic, R (a highly unusual zombie) encounters Julie (a human survivor), and rescues her from a zombie attack. Julie sees that R is different from the other zombies, and as the two form a special relationship in their struggle for survival, R becomes increasingly more human – setting off an exciting, romantic, and often comical chain of events that begins to transform the other zombies and maybe even the whole lifeless world. It opens in theaters on February 1, with screenings beginning at midnight in some cities.
