Following a new trailer late last week, Summit has unveiled two high-res Warm Bodies photos from the Jonathan Levine-directed film based on the book by Isaac Marion.

Both depict a funny scene involving Nicholas Hoult, who plays R – a zombie who fell in love with a human and tries to win her over. In the one we see him meshing in well with the evolution of man. In the other, love interest Julie (not pictured) comparing a zombie on a DVD cover to R.

We have already reviewed the film after catching a screening last month, writing, “Warm Bodies [is a] fun zombie story with a love story that you’ll want to root for. Despite the odd premise (“Zombie boyfriend,” as described by one of Julie’s friends), the story is a compelling and believable one [that is] very fulfilling and heartwarming.”

Set for a February 3, 2013 release date, Warm Bodies was written and directed by Jonathan Levine (50/50) from a novel by Isaac Marion, and follows R (Hoult), a zombie who falls in love with Julie (Teresa Palmer) after he eats her boyfriend’s brains and absorbs his memories. Their romance sets in motion a sequence of events that might transform the entire lifeless world.
