As it did leading up to the release of The Walking Dead season 2, AMC will be running a series of brand new webisodes this October.

The websiode series is called Cold Storage, and the four five-minute episodes are directed by series special effects supervisor Greg Nicotero. It will feature an entirely new group of characters – one of which is played by Daniel Roebuck who played Doc on ABC’s Lost.

Cold Storage tells the story of a young man, Chase (played by Josh Stewart), trying to reach his sister in the early days of the zombie apocalypse,” writes AMC. “He finds temporary shelter in a storage facility run by a former employee named B.J. (Roebuck); however, things are not what they appear.”

If you can’t wait, we highly recommend watching last year’s Walking Dead webisode series in our previous story.

Meanwhile, the television Waking Dead series kicks off its third season Sunday, October 14 on AMC. The network recently launched a collection of great character portraits and interviews with the cast, who really hype up the action in the upcoming episodes.

Will you watch the Walking Dead webisode series Cold Storage, or do you only care about the lead characters you’ve come to know?
