On last night’s episode of The Soup, hosted by Joel McHale on the E! channel, fans of The Walking Dead got a special treat. Check out the video to see the hilarious spoof on our favorite show.

If you’re killing zombies and fighting for survival on your post-apocalyptic TV show, you have to have a sense of humor. Actors Norman Reedus and Steven Yeun, who play Daryl and Glenn on AMC’s The Walking Dead, show us their funny side by parodying their zombie thriller show on The Soup.

As usual, Joel McHale pokes fun at the E! network, creating a scenario for Reedus and Yeun in which all people in the E! building are seen as “dead” because they work for this network. Or at least they’re dead inside.

Reedus even says, “They ain’t human no more. They’re dead soon as they walk into this building.”

And they’re not afraid to shoot and kill these “zombies,” either.

Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman also makes an appearance, and he seems to be arguing with someone over the phone, claiming that he’s found a great new crop of zombies. He means the E! employees.

Unfortunately for Kirkman, Reedus and Yeun come in, guns blazing, and take out all of Kirkman’s new zombies. He’s not happy, and complains, “You ruined my tea and my zombie Jason Kennedy [an E! News host]. You guys are lucky I didn’t kill you both off last season.”

We love Joel McHale just smiling in the background, filming the whole thing on his smartphone. (Except that for the first bit, he seems to have the camera turned around on himself.)

The video shows Reedus and Yeun continuing to wreak havoc on anyone inside the E! building, until they become pieces for the zombies’ (and McHale’s) amusement and are forced to host The Soup by zombie Khloe Kardashian.

We love the fun these guys are having with the grim subject matter The Walking Dead covers.

This group also did a similar video last year for the season 2 premiere. Check it out below.
