When people get cast on a new show, we would assume that means that they are leaving their old show, right? See who might be leaving the world of The Walking Dead for a fairytale ending on Once Upon a Time. Beware of spoilers!
Though we’ve only just met her, it looks like Tyreese’s sister, Sasha, may be making her way out of the prison and into a land of fantasy. TVLine reports that Sonequa Martin-Green, who plays Sasha on The Walking Dead, has been cast as a character named Tamara on ABC’s Once Upon a Time.
No details have been given yet on Martin-Green’s new character’s part in Emma Swan’s story, but apparently she’s coming in before the end of season 2 (which starts up again on Sunday, January 6), and there’s a chance she’ll stick around for season 3.
While we know that it’s possible for actors to play two parts on two different shows, we have a feeling that The Walking Dead will be losing Sasha to Once Upon a Time’s fairytale world.
By our powers of deduction, we’re making a guess that Sasha is going to die. Not that we would necessarily expect her to go, but all that screaming she does has to attract some attention from walkers or other unwanted foes in the post-apocalyptic world.
No word has been released yet on how (or really even if) Martin-Green’s character will be leaving The Walking Dead. Even if she is heading out soon, we hope to see a little more character development for Sasha, if only for the sake of getting to know Tyreese better on the show.
