Four characters who joined The Walking Dead last year are being upgraded to series regulars for season 7, meaning they’ll have a larger presence in the new episodes.

The following four characters are being promoted for The Walking Dead season 7:

Jeffrey Dean Morgan (Negan)

He’s the baddest bitch the show has ever seen.

Tom Payne (Jesus)

He’s on Team Rick.

Austin Amelio (Dwight)

He has it in for Daryl — meaning Daryl is probably going to kill him.

Xander Berkeley (Gregory)

He has it in for Maggie.

As The Hollywood Reporter notes, the four new series regulars bring the show’s total to up 20 — an all-time high for The Walking Dead. The show’s previous highest was 18 in season 6 before killing Jessie and Deanna, two people who were close to Rick.

And of course, we can’t forget that this 20 number will drop by one after Negan kills someone in the season 7 premiere. I’ll say it again: Gulp!

The first trailer for The Walking Dead season 7 is expected to debut at San Diego Comic-Con later this month. We also expect the premiere date to be announced at the same time. Stay tuned, because we’re about to learn a lot about the season ahead!
