The second significant trailer for The Walking Dead season 5 debuted over the weekend and has a decent amount of new footage.

In this new sneak peek – which is much better than the very short promos AMC has been running on their network as of late – we see Rick threatening to kill the people of Terminus and our leader offering life lessons to Carl. “You are not safe,” he tell his son. “It only takes one second, then it’s over. Never let your guard down.”

We also see a shot of Glenn in distress, apparently about to receive a bat to the head. This is one of several times we’ve seen this clip, so we have to think that Glenn isn’t actually doomed like the trailer wants us to think.

Other noteworthy moments in this trailer: A HUGE explosion, Abraham dropping to his knees, and Daryl and Carol working together.

Can you find any new clues about the season in this trailer?

The new Walking Dead season 5 trailer also uses the show’s new tagline “hunt or be hunted” which debuted on a poster last week. The tagline is likely a reference to Terminus’ cannibal residents.

Season 5 of The Walking Dead premieres Sunday, October 12 at 9 p.m. eastern/pacific on AMC. While you wait, be sure to check out the very first trailer for the new season which boasts over 2 1/2 minutes of new footage.
