Ahead of this weekend’s Walking Dead marathon, AMC has released a new video in which we learn about the season 5 premiere.

Cameras were rolling behind the scenes of The Walking Dead season 5’s premiere episode, and AMC asked the cast and crew how great the first episode is. Take a look:

In addition to hearing that all the characters are together again (in case you forgot about what happened in the season 4 premiere), we’re told in the video that this season is shaping up to be very action-packed.

There were also several choice quotes from various cast members. Says Norman Reedus (Daryl), “every couple of pages you’re just like ‘Oh my God’ and you have to put it down and just think about it.”

Chad L. Coleman (Tyreese) added, “After I read 5×01 I said ‘Woooow.'”

“It’s the most ambitious first episode I think we’ve attempted,” says Andrew Lincoln (Rick). “I think a lot of people are trying to work out where they belong in the group this season, it’s very much a season about hierarchy.”

Said Lauren Cohan (Maggie), “This episode is so disturbing. I mean some of the stuff we shot yesterday, I don’t know if it’ll make it to TV.”

So how good is it? “It’s a great welcome to the season,” says Steven Yeun.

The Walking Dead marathon airing this weekend on AMC, titled “Dead, White, and Blue,” will include a new season 5 preview and a new episode of The Talking Dead. We’ll be sure to share whatever season 5 preview is released during the marathon!
