A big episode for The Walking Dead season 4 is expected tonight as the show hits its halfway point.

Update: Read our ‘Walking Dead’ recap to discuss tonight’s shocking episode.

The Walking Dead season 4, episode 8 is the zombie drama’s fall finale and will be the last new show until early next year. As such, big things – and cliffhangers – are expected.

All promotional material for this episode promises a big confrontation between Team Rick and Team Governor. The video trailer says that “all will fight” and “some will fall.” Watch below:

In a previous story several of our readers speculated that Hershel will be one of the characters dying on tonight’s Walking Dead. We also think one or two people in the Governor’s new family will die. Surely the big man himself won’t, though. Only time will tell!

Two clips from the episode show an uneventful moment with Lily and Megan, and the Governor/Brian talking to his constituents about their mission.

The past two episodes have focused squarely on Brian and what he’s been up to since he lost Woodbury. The character – known to Rick as the Governor – went through a deep state of depression before coming across three women who he made into his family. He then found Martinez’s group, killed his former partner, and took over as leader. It took several weeks, but the Governor became his old self again. The one question we have now is whether or not his new family will begin to see the type of person he really is.

The Walking Dead season 4, episode 8 “Too Far Gone” airs Sunday, December 1 at 9 p.m. eastern/pacific on AMC.

Will tonight’s ‘Walking Dead’ season 4 midseason finale live up to the hype?
