Though we still have almost a month to go until the return of The Walking Dead, AMC has released a new promo to tide us over during the home stretch. Take a look at this new Walking Dead promo for the rest of season 3.
In this new promo for “The Suicide King,” we see the Governor getting ready to plan an attack on the prison, but it looks like Rick might be planning one of his own.
During the montage from the promo, the narrator says, “In the battle at the end of the world, it’s an eye for an eye.”
Obviously this is referring to the Govenor’s mutilated eye (thanks to Michonne), but could that mean that the Governor will be taking an eye (or worse) from someone in Rick’s group?
This statement also falls in line with the recent promotional poster put out by AMC.
We hope not, but we can never be too sure what injuries the survivors will suffer in battle, and it definitely looks like there is going to be a battle. Both sides seem to be preparing themselves for a fight, but who will come out on top?
In this new Walking Dead promo, we also see Tyreese offering up his help to Rick, and we hope this is the beginning of beautiful relationship between these two strong characters. We’re really looking forward to seeing more Tyreese, granted that he makes it out of this battle alive.
There is also a voiceover of someone saying, “We’re gonna win,” and we assume that it’s Rick.
