AMC has released a new poster touting the mid-season premiere of The Walking Dead, and it forewarns of eerie revenge on Rick by The Governor.

“An Eye For An Eye” reads the top of the poster. Below we see The Governor (David Morrissey) sporting his newly received eye patch behind Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln).

The poster of course references the epic scene in the mid-season finale of The Walking Dead when Michonne takes out The Governor’s eye. Michonne had hoped to kill him but she was unsuccessful in that attempt.

Recently we shared our predictions on how the rest of the season will play out. “The Governor will attack the prison, during the battle he will be killed, and the folks at the prison will be forced out and suffer a few fatalities,” we wrote in this detailed piece. “Though Hershel and Tyreese are both killed by the Governor in the comic version of the prison battle (which comes in a couple of phases), we’re hoping they’ll survive the AMC version.” Read more of our Walking Dead predictions!

We don’t really want to begin to guess who’s going to be a casualty of the eventual attack from the Governor.

As noted in the promo, The Walking Dead returns Sunday, February 10 (one month away!)
