The Voice season 5 premiere airs tonight! We’ll tell you what to expect, and where to watch it online later if you can’t watch it when it airs.

The recent Emmy-award-winning talent competition returns tonight for season 5 with some new talent and some old familiar faces.

All four original coaches have returned for season 5: Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Cee Lo Green, and Christina Aguilera. See if they fall back into the same chemistry they had in seasons 1-3, and if Cee Lo and Christina have gained some fresh perspective after their season 4 break (during which Usher and Shakira filled in). They are, after all, joining Adam in his attempt to take down Blake and end his three-year reign as winning coach.

One thing that hasn’t changed? The coaches’ talent. Check out their season 5 group performance of Joan Jett and The Blackhearts’ “I Love Rock n’ Roll”. The four voices blend seamlessly into our favorite Voice supergroup, (one that would surely land some chair turns), and it is great to see the old gang back together.

Here’s a sneak peak at some promising blind auditions: Matthew Schuler and Kat Robichaud. Aside from the amazing talent, watch the coaches climb their chairs and run up onstage to try to win over their favorite contestants. They look more desperate than ever to win over the best and most promising artists. And our loyal host Carson Daly is still hugging tearful parents backstage.
