Forget Oprah. It has been reported that Viola Davis has been cast as Amanda Waller in DC Comics’ upcoming Suicide Squad.

Last week we reported that Oprah Winfrey was DC and Warner Bros.’ top pick for the role of Amanda Waller, while both Viola Davis and Octavia Spencer were also being considered.

Now, Latino Review claims that Viola Davis (who currently stars in How to Get Away With Murder) has landed the role.

There’s a catch, however – the sources who have informed Latino Review of this casting add that Davis can only keep the role if the studio finds a way to work around her TV schedule.

As the lead in How to Get Away With Murder, a break-out hit show on ABC which is currently in its mid-season hiatus, Davis’ schedule will probably be pretty packed until her summer break.

Amanda Waller is the last major role to be cast for the highly anticipated Suicide Squad. She serves as the leader of the squad, a government employee with a clear sense of justice, who sends the misfits on dangerous missions.

The Suicide Squad itself already has quite a star line-up: we’ve got Jared Leto as the Joker, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Will Smith as Deadshot, Cara Delevingne as the Enchantress, Tom Hardy as Rick Flag, and Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang.

The movie is set to be released on August 5, 2016.
