Vin Diesel talks about the future of his Fast & Furious franchise in a new Facebook post.

In a recent update the actor talks about becoming a producer in 2008, and there’s a feeling that he may want to helm one of the last three movies.

We do notice that Vin Diesel calls the upcoming movie Fast 8 instead of Furious 8, but there’s been so many titles it’s probably difficult for even him to remember all of them.

The fans of the Fast & Furious SAGA are the best fans in the world… Since I became the Producer in 2008, you have been…

Possibly the more interesting thing to note is that Diesel makes it sound like he has quite a bit of power when it comes to who will be directing the final three films.

As a producer he may have more power than we’ve known for the last seven years, but he said he’d be revealing the directors on his Facebook page, which is probably a smart move considering he has 95 million Facebook fans. That’s more than any other celebrity on the planet.

Even if you aren’t a fan of these films, one has to respect their ability to launch careers and bring in billions at the box office. The latest film took in $1.5 billion worldwide, but it’ll be interesting to see what the films will be like without actor Paul Walker, who passed away in a tragic car accident back in 2013.

As for launching careers, Gal Gadot starred in one of the latest Fast & Furious films, and now she’s become Wonder Woman. The films also feature Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and many other fairly big stars.

We look forward to finding out more about the final three films, and if Vin Diesel will end up directing one for himself by the end.
