Last night’s How to Succeed in Business was Darren Criss’ final show (Nick Jonas will take his place starting tomorrow), and following the performance Criss had a special message for the fans.

You can watch him speak to the crowd!

We transcribed his message in case you have a hard time hearing over the screaming fans:

This is my last show with How to Succeed. It’s been a thrill of a lifetime. I for many years have been coming to every theater in this town. I’ve waited outside hours for people, but I have never seen or felt the energy that has been given to me at all these shows. It’s so appreciated and I can’t even – I don’t know how you guys bare the cold. I would not be here doing this show if it were not for you. I wouldn’t be very interesting to [the producers] if it weren’t for you. So thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. I’m sorry I can’t sign everything, but I do love you all and it means the world to me that you’re here. We’ll see you next time on Broadway.
