Earlier today, we gave you a roundtable with some of the best directors of 2011, and although you won’t find only leading men in this lineup of the best main and supporting actors of 2011, the hour-long interview gives a penetrating insight into the minds of the most outstanding performances of 2011.

Once again, the Hollywood Reporter (via SlashFilm) has somehow gathered the best of the film industry into one room to talk shop. The actors to grace the interview this year are George Clooney (The Descendants), Christopher Plummer (Beginners), Gary Oldman (Tinker, Tailor, Solider, Spy), Christoph Waltz (Carnage), Albert Brooks (Drive) and Nick Nolte (Warrior).
