LeakyCon has announced that Team StarKid’s long rumoured (and highly anticipated) third Harry Potter musical will debut at the convention in August.

A reading of Matt Lang, Nick Lang and Brian Holden’s book for A Very Potter 3D: A Very Potter Senior Year will be performed from 12pm to 3pm on August 11. The performance is set to feature most members of Team StarKid including Lauren Lopez, Joe Walker, Joey Richter, Jaime Lyn Beatty and Darren Criss.

The plot focuses on “what happens as Harry enters his senior year at Hogwarts, and struggles to find his purpose in a world that may not need him anymore.” Starkid will also be signing autographs and appearing at several other events during the convention.

No word yet as to whether this reading will reach YouTube, like StarKid’s other shows, but it sounds like this will definitely be the only chance to see this performance live with LeakyCon stating this will be “the first and only time to see the show.”

Are you excited to see Starkid ‘Get Back To Hogwarts’ with this performance? Or are you simply distraught that you won’t be able to make it to LeakyCon to see this live (I know I am)?

Confirmation of A Very Potter Threequel, now called A Very Potter Senior Year, was first learned this past August.
