The cast of Star Wars: The Last Jedi have lined up for special Vanity Fair cover shoots, revealing a likely divide of factions in the film.

The Jedi. The rebels. The New Order.

These appear to be the three groups we’ll follow in The Last Jedi, this December’s new Star Wars movie directed by Rian Johnson.

The Vanity Fair covers display the main cast of the film: Daisy Ridley, Mark Hamill, John Boyega, Kelly Marie Tran (new character Rose), Oscar Isaac, Adam Driver, Domhnall Gleeson, and Gwendoline Christine (unmasked!).

One cover features a solo shot of the late Carrie Fisher, who will be appearing as Leia for the very last time:

The gorgeous stills were shot by iconic photographer Annie Leibovitz, who visited the set of The Last Jedi. Leibovitz’s full portfolio will be online on Wednesday, the cover story written by David Kamp.

The article accompanying the images reveal a few tidbits of info: the name of Luke’s planet is Ahch-To, Rose’s last name is Tico, and “Kylo Ren’s wounds go much deeper than the fearsome new scar on his face.”

Star Wars celebrates its 40th anniversary this week. The Last Jedi hits cinemas on December 15, 2017.
